GET INVOLVED…VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering keeps our membership fees low while providing high quality local competition opportunities for our athletes. Annually, we expect all our families to volunteer at least 6 hours. We welcome all adults and high school athletes to get involved. Make the club yours…volunteer!

VOLUNTEER BOND - WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER!

Running a track & field club is a team sport. We rely on our families to tackle the 1001 jobs needed to keep Ocean Athletics a great club for us all. To achieve this, Ocean families each complete at least 6 hours of volunteer work per year, regardless of the number of athletes they have in the club. This includes helping us host competitions and/or taking on other roles. To ensure that we all contribute to our success, a $200 Volunteer Bond per family is added during registration to all yearlong programs. When volunteer hours are complete, families may apply online (button below) for their bond to be returned. When approved, the bond is refunded to the credit card used for registration.

IMPORTANT: Volunteer hours must be completed by November 30 and Volunteer Bond refund applications must be submitted by December 1 of the current membership year. The volunteer requirement must be satisfied by a parent/guardian if members are younger than 13.
