BC High School Multi-Championships May 24/25 2019

Congratulations to Ocean Athletics athletes competing for their respective schools at the BC High School Multi-Championships. Aneel Gillan had an outstanding 2 days in the Decathlon with 6 personal bests to finish as the 2019 BC High School Senior Boys Combined Events Champion. Fraser McKay also competed in the Decathlon and had 5 personal bests, including the final event - the 1500m in a time of 5:04.

Aiden Turner was extremely close to winning the Junior Octathlon with excellent performances in each event and seemed very pleased with his silver medal. Again several personal bests contributed to his success.

Sadly, Alanna Cunha had to retire due to shin splints. We wish her a speedy recovery in time to compete this coming weekend in the BC High School Individual Track and Field Championships.
